News from the farm...
Milk Bottle Quilt Company was a vendor at the quilt show in Odessa the last weekend in April. We had so much fun visiting with the ladies who came to enjoy our guild's annual quilt show. Congratulations to Irena Johnson and Nancy Wenke who were our door prize winners. We'll be mailing Riley Blake 5" charm packs to those two lucky ladies. Thank you for stopping by our booth, Irena and Nancy!
We had two kits, Moccasin and Over and Down Under Woolies Flannel, which were very popular this year. We only have two of each quilt kit left in stock. Check them out before they're gone!
We have two new projects, a quilt and a table runner, made from Folk Art Flannels by Janet Rae Nesbitt of One Sister Designs for Henry Glass & Co. Our Tibet Folk Art Flannels quilt goes together in a day and measures 64" x 88". The kit contains all the fabric for the top and binding along with the pattern.

The Folk Art Flannel table runner is made using the border stripe fabric and fussy cutting the vintage stars to be paired with flying geese. This runner is a generous 46" x 22" and would look great on a large dining table. Our kit contains over four yards of fabric for the runner, binding and the backing.

Nancy, Wendy, and I spent the first weekend in April making these cute, ruffled, burlap tote bags to sell in the booth during quilt show. We enjoyed watching the ladies pick out their favorite tote to purchase. We only have four left, but will be making more in the future. If you would like us to make you a custom tote, just email us your color preferences and we'll email you pictures of fabric selections to choose from. They are made from a heavyweight burlap, are plastic lined and very sturdy.

We're hoping the weather warms up soon. Until then, enjoy spending time in your sewing room quilting on a new project or finishing one of your UFOs!
Happy Quilting, Juli
